From a dream to Queensland's premier family entertainment destination
Sunny Coast Playpark began as a vision shared by two local families in 2018. The Thompsons and the Chens, both with young children, recognized the need for a safe, stimulating indoor-outdoor play environment that could operate year-round regardless of Queensland's sometimes unpredictable weather. Their dream was to create a space where families could come together, where children could explore and develop through play, and where parents could relax knowing their kids were having fun in a secure environment.
Starting with a modest 500 square meter facility, we quickly became a favorite destination for local families. By 2020, we had expanded to our current 4,500 square meter location near the beaches of Maroochydore, allowing us to introduce exciting new attractions and host larger events. Today, Sunny Coast Playpark welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually and has become an integral part of the community, hosting everything from daily play sessions to school holiday programs and charitable events.
Through careful growth and a commitment to innovation, we've maintained our founding principles: providing exceptional play experiences, prioritizing safety, and creating lasting memories for Queensland families.
